Episode 253 - An Encouraging Conversation with the Pastor Around the Corner

I remember when Dave first came with his wife and daughter to our church. In a small church--as you know--you recognize when a new young family comes through the door, and I wanted to know what had brought them to our church instead of the dozens of others they could have chosen from.

"Well," he said "I was talking to someone I really respect about finding a new church and he encouraged me to just try the one that was the closest. You guys were right around the corner, so here we are!"

That family ended up staying in our church and becoming vibrant members of the body, all because they decided to walk around the corner and check it out.

On today's episode we talk with Chad Jennings who happens to be a pastor who works at a church right around the corner (well, if we're honest, it's across town, but it's a small town so whatever) from Jeff!

Chad Jennings has been a United Methodist minister for 15 years and at his current church for just a few months. He shares about his experiences in small churches and his vision for churches reaching as many different people as possible in as many different ways as it takes.
